DRUG INDUCED KILLING: California woman stabs boyfriend 108 times while high on marijuana!
Bryn Spejcher, age 32, receives two years probation and a hundred hours of community service, for fatally stabbing her boyfriend after the couple smoked cannabis together. Bryn’s defense attorney claimed she was “involuntarily intoxicated,” and her boyfriend had allegedly bullied and intimidated her into smoking weed with him.
POT CANDY: Colorado man gets 30 years in prison for killing wife while high on marijuana edibles!
Richard Kirk, age 47, shot his wife in the head while she was on the phone with a 911 operator, telling that person she was scared because her husband seemed drunk and was going into their gun safe. The couple’s three sons were in the home when it happened.
ZOMBIE ATTACK: Florida man shot by Police after eating the face off a homeless man while high on bath salts!
Rudy Eugene, age 31, ripped off his clothes and viciously gnawed the face of another man while high on the street drug known as bath salts. Officers demands for Rudy to stop were met with only growls. It took four bullets to kill and finally stop him as witnesses watched in horror.
WEDDING HORROR: South Carolina Bride killed by intoxicated driver five hours after getting married!
Samantha Miller, age 34, was hit by a drunk driver as she left her wedding reception. Samantha was riding in a golf cart with her newlywed husband when the intoxicated driver hit them, causing the cart to roll several times. First responders attempted to revive Samantha but she died at the scene.
MARIJUANA MADNESS: Colorado man takes his own life after developing cannabis-induced psychosis!
Randy Bacchus, age 21, began smoking marijuana in his mid teens for social acceptance and to fit in. Randy soon became paranoid and thought the mob was after him. On the morning Randy took his own life, he text his parents, “I love you and am sorry for everything,” then his computer browser history showed he googled Jesus three times.
THREE SIBLINGS KILLED: Louisiana mother mourns the loss of her three children after a drunk driver kills them!
Dawn Simmons, age 55, loses three of her children days before Christmas Day, when a pickup truck driving the wrong-way hit the siblings vehicle head-on. The driver was three times over the legal limit for alcohol. Her daughter Lindy was 20, her son Christopher was 17, and her “baby” Kamryn was 15. Dawn says “What happened was senseless, selfish and preventable.”
SCARED TO DEATH: Michigan grandmother shoots her teenage grandson because he was using drugs!
Sandra Layne, age 74, is charged with murder after shooting her 17-year-old grandson in the chest eight times as he called 911. The teen told the dispatcher he had been shot by his grandmother and was going to die. As he was on the phone with Police, Sandra shot him four more times. Sandra claimed she was afraid of her grandson because of his drug use.
GATEWAY DRUG: California man diagnosed with schizophrenia after using cannabis and dies from overdose!
Anders Gilliand, age 22, started using marijuana in his early teens and quickly started to lose contact with reality. Anders thought there were “higher beings” that were communicating with him to tell him what to do or who he was. To try and quell the voices in his head, Anders began using heroin to died of an accidental overdose.
BUS STOP KILLING: Nevada woman drives her vehicle the wrong way and hits a bus stop full of people!
Cynthia Phelps, age 64, was in the drivers seat when officers arrived. Cynthia told police she was “convinced” she U-turned before she drove the wrong way and hit five people at a bus stop, killing two of them, while under the influence. She faces two counts of DUI resulting in death, and three counts of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm.
AUTOPSY: Tennessee mother overdoses and leaves her baby to die of starvation and dehydration!
Tiffany Spears, age 32, was found dead with her infant son as a result of a drug overdose. Her 1-year-old son, found strapped inside his car seat, died of starvation and dehydration. Deputies responded to the residence after a probation officer making a home visit observed an obvious medical emergency through the window.
STABBING SPREE: Illinois man goes on drug-fueled stabbing rampage after smoking weed!
Christian Soto, age 22, is charged with the murder of four people, and attempted murder of seven others. Police say the attacks happened after Christian smoked marijuana with a friend. The drugs were “laced” with an unknown narcotic and Christian became paranoid and stabbed his two friends to death, before leaving the home and continuing his killing spree.
CANNABIS PSYCHOSIS: Colorado teen develops schizophrenia after using marijuana!
Johnny stock, age 19, commits suicide after using pot products. Three days before Johnny died he told his parents he loved them, but marijuana ruined his life and mind. A new clinical study found that 40% of those with no family history of psychosis developed psychotic symptoms after being administered THC from marijuana!
AFFLUENZA DEFENSE: Texas teen receives probation after killing 4 in DWI crash!
Ethan Couch, age 16, caused national outrage after his verdict. To the families of the victims, Ethan was a killer on the road, a drunken teenage driver who caused a crash that left four people dead. To the defense, the youth is himself a victim – of “affluenza,” according to one psychologist – the product of wealthy parents who never set limits for the boy.
ALCOHOL HAZING: Minnesota teen suffers massive brain damage in college hazing incident!
Daniel Santulli, age 19, was forced to drink an entire bottle of vodka while pledging to become a member of the Phi Gamma Delta. Shortly afterwards, Daniel was discovered outside a hospital suffering from cardiac arrest. He had a blood-alcohol content six times the legal driving limit. Daniel survived but was left blind and with permanent brain damage.
DEADLY BOAT CRASH: South Carolina teen kills classmate in late night DUI boating accident!
Paul Murdaugh, age 19, was driving a boat with friends after a night of drinking when he collided with a bridge. All six occupants of the boat were ejected. One did not surface. In the aftermath of the accident, his father, a prominent attorney for Hampton County, showed up at the hospital where Paul was held and encouraged him not to speak with investigators.
RITALIN SUICIDE: British teenager who had his prescription of Ritalin increased hangs himself!
Anthony Cole, age 15, was prescribed the drug six years ago when he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Shortly after having a doctor increased his Ritalin dosage, the teen committed suicide. His father said Anthony had been acting as if in a trance in the days before his death. He was found dead in his bedroom.
MARIJUANA HOMICIDE: Washington teen admits to smoking marijuana before killing 3 in crash!
Marcus McKay, age 17, lost control of his car and slammed into a tree early Sunday, killing three fellow teenagers. Marcus admitted to Police he smoked marijuana a little more than an hour before the accident. He was charged with three counts of vehicular homicide and prosecutors filed a motion asking that Marcus be tried as an adult.
BEST FRIEND KILLED: Florida teen kills her best friend in drunk driving tragedy!
Jessica Rasdall, age 18, went out dancing with her best friend at a bar after they got off work. That night women 18 and older got in free. The girls left the bar at 3am and got in Jessica’s car to drive home. Jessica woke up after she veered off the road and smashed into a tree. Her best friend lay dead beside her in the passenger seat.
FATAL MIXTURE: Missouri middle school student found dead after taking K2, marijuana, alcohol, and cough medicine!
Ealiesha Tyler, age 13, was at a friend house when he apparently fell asleep. Someone noticed Ealiesha was in distress and not waking up. A call to 911 was make. Police found the teen on the floor, surrounded by his own vomit. He was sent by ambulance CoxSouth hospital, where he was pronounced dead. It is unknown where Ealiesha got the drugs and alcohol from.
DEADLY TOUCH: Florida boy dies after having his skin come in contact with fentanyl!
Alton Banks, age 10, went for a swim at the city pool. While there, the child somehow came in contact with the deadly drug. After returning home he then began vomiting. By the time EMS arrived, Alton was dead. Just 2 to 3 milligrams of fentanyl, equivalent to five to seven grains of table salt, is enough to cause respiratory depression and death.
PRESCRIBING DEATH: Cumbria boy kills himself after being prescribed Prozac and Ritalin!
Harry Hucknall, age 10, kissed his mother and older brother goodnight before going upstairs to his bedroom and locking the door. He then hanged himself with a belt from his bunk bed. His father blames Harry’s death on two mind-altering drugs that his son had been prescribed by a psychiatrist to “cure” his boisterous behavior and low spirits.
DEADLY EXPOSURE: New York child died after coming in contact with fentanyl at his daycare center!
Nicholas Dominici, age 1, was found unresponsive along with three other young children. Nicholas was pronounced dead at the hospital. The others, who range in age from 8 months to 2 years old, were given Narcan. Prosecutors say defendants tried to cover up the overdoses and carried shopping bags out of the daycare before the Police arrived on scene
THREE CHILDREN DROWN: Arkansas brothers die after their mother drives into a lake after drinking!
Aaron Turley, age 8, along with his two younger sibling, drown after their mother took a wrong turn onto a road that led straight into a lake. Aaron’s mother swam to shore, but she was unable to rescue her three children. Toxicology tests resulted in Aaron’s mother being charged in their deaths, and she faces up to six years in prison on each count.
DEADLY DISTRACTION: Vermont toddler drowned while four adults were drinking alcohol on the beach!
Heaven McEwan, age 18-months, was being supervised by her father and his girlfriend, who spend the evening drinking Twisted Teas on the beach before the father realized his young daughter was missing. The affidavit stated Heaven was found floating in the river underneath the bridge. She was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support, but was pronounced dead several days later.

Evidence at the scene showed that Phelps was driving north on the southbound side of Boulder Highway when, for unknown reasons, she ran off the road onto the sidewalk, hitting five people who were standing at the RTC bus stop, the report stated.
Phelps told police she was driving home from Boulder Station Casino and believed she missed her turn. She was convinced she had made a U-turn and was driving south when the collision occurred, according to the report.
Police say the attacks began after Soto visited Jacob Schupbach’s home to smoke marijuana.
FOX News -The family of a Missouri college student left blind and with “massive brain damage” after an alcohol-fueled hazing incident at school is warning other parents to be more vigilant in the wake of their devastating “reality check.”
“He has a long road,” Santulli said when reached by phone. “We just hope that he somehow gets better.”
In 2019 a man with ties to one of Hampton County’s most prominent legal families was indicted Thursday in connection with the boating collision that led to the death of 19-year-old Mallory Beach in Beaufort County.
The indictments stem from the early morning hours of Feb. 24 when a boat collided with the Archer’s Creek Bridge, which connects the Parris Island Marine training facility to the rest of Beaufort County. All six occupants of the boat were ejected, but Beach didn’t resurface.
Investigators did not test the blood alcohol levels of the occupants of the boat in part because they did not know for sure at the time who the driver was, said Robert McCullough, spokesman for the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. However, a police report described the surviving passengers as grossly intoxicated — a detail that has led to widespread criticism of DNR’s handling of the investigation. The agency investigated 15 deaths from boating crashes last year, McCullough said.
Randolph Murdaugh was the first in the family to serve as solicitor for the circuit, which includes Beaufort County. Randolph died in 1940, but his son and grandson both held the elected position subsequently, leading to an almost uninterrupted 87-year stretch in which a Murdaugh led the state’s prosecutions for five counties in the Lowcountry.

The family of a Springfield middle school student found dead late Monday say he took a fatal mix of K2, marijuana, alcohol and cough medicine.
CNN — A 10-year-old Miami boy died last month after suspected skin contact with a deadly mixture of opioid drugs, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said Tuesday.
Darren J. Caprara, director of operations for the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department, said no further details can be revealed because “the case is still under investigation by both law enforcement and our Medical Examiner team.”
Fernandez Rundle emphasized the need for parents to know that “their children are at risk in the community.” She explained that fentanyl is a “synthetic drug that comes from China” and can be made in the United States. Easy to produce and cheap, it can be added to a drug dealer’s supply of heroin to stretch the profits.
The father of a ten-year-old boy found hanged at his home believes the ‘mind-altering’ drugs he was on led to him taking his own life.
His auntie, Sarah Brown, said Harry had been ‘a very sad little boy’, but had also noticed a huge improvement in him in the months before his death. “He was a different child. He had a smile and a cheeky little grin,” she said.
“What a child with ADHD is prescribed by his doctor is mind- altering drugs of a powerful nature.
KINGSBRIDGE, The Bronx — Crime scene investigators Thursday returned to the Bronx day care where a 1-year-old died and three other children were injured after it’s believed they were exposed to fentanyl.
Additionally on Thursday, a grand jury in the Bronx returned an indictment charging Mendez and her tenant in connection with the death of the 1-year-old and the poisonings of three other children. The charges remain sealed until the two appear for arraignment at a later date but they had initially been taken into custody for murder.
Mendez and Brito remain in federal custody after they were ordered held without bail in connection to federal drug trafficking charges. A search for Mendez’s husband, who court records said was seen on video fleeing the day care out a back alley, is ongoing.
Detectives have learned that Mendez talked to her husband several times, before calling 911, in the immediate aftermath of Friday afternoon’s tragedy. Prosecutors say Mendez deleted 20,000 text messages from her phone before she was arrested, but they managed to recover them.
The mother of three young children who drowned after she drove into a central Arkansas lake had been drinking before the crash, authorities said Friday, the second recent case in which a mom was accused of drinking before getting behind the wheel with her kids.
Prosecutor Tom Tatum said the alcohol was among several factors that resulted in the endangerment allegations, but he would not disclose results of toxicology tests or describe other elements that led to the charges. He said he considered several different charges, but felt the most comfortable bringing the endangerment ones before a jury.
Father: Charges ‘outrageous’
HARTFORD — A Windsor man and his girlfriend were supposed to be looking after his 18-month-old daughter when she drowned during an outing at the White River this summer, but instead, they were drinking alcohol on the beach and then lied to investigators about their actions, according to police.
They were joined by two friends, and the four adults spent the early evening swimming and drinking Twisted Teas on the beach before McEwan realized his younger daughter was missing, the affidavit said. He found Heaven floating in the river underneath the bridge, and pulled her from the water, according to police. First responders arrived around 6 p.m. and took the girl to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she was placed on life support. Heaven was pronounced dead several days later.
Shea also said that Shaw and McEwan told her to lie to police about Shaw’s alcohol consumption. She said McEwan “coached” her before her interview with police to tell investigators she drank all of the alcohol herself.
She said she believes her daughter is in immediate danger following the White River incident, and told police that prior to her younger daughter’s death, McEwan had threatened that he “was going to take the girls and (she) would never see them again.”
